Hi everyone! My name is Bianca Guerrero — I’m a 21 year old political science major in Columbia College. I graduate in May 2017 and would rather not talk about it. I’m a Kluge Scholar and a Truman Scholar, crazy about housing and urban policy, and a half-hearted vegetarian. I embarked on this project as part of my one-year fellowship with Citizen University, a civic power organization based in Seattle, Washington.
During my time at Columbia, I started the Residential Hall Leadership Organization’s beloved Stress Pupsters event, was a mentee and mentor in the Columbia Mentoring Initiative’s Latinx Family Tree, and wrote a whopping one (!) small piece for Blue & White. For a short time I was on the Barnard Outdoor Adventure Team and in the Columbia Hiking Club and for a long time I’ve been pushing the administration to eliminate the student contribution. I’ve got another blog where I write letters to my little sister and about family, friends, and mentors that have shaped me.
If, for any reason, you’d like to contact me you can do so by emailing me at email@example.com.
